Building Project
Phase 2 of the building project (the internal works to the sanctuary) will comence in January 2008 and will be completed over the next 3months. in the meantime we are holding all services in the schoolroom.

Our Schoolrom and new entrance including toilets and kitchen is all complete and available for hire

New Minister Appointed
We are delighted that Rev Jane Mortimer has accepted our invitation to become our minister
at Little Waltham URC. Jane formally took up the appointment in mid May 2007.

Rambling Club

Coffee Mornings
We hold a coffe morning each month on the 3rd Saturday between 10am & 11am ish. lots to chat about, things to buy or just catch up. Being held in members homes while building work is going on. Check out the dates...

Known locally as "Chapel" we are a thriving church at the heart of the Essex village of Little Waltham just north of Chelmsford and south of Great Dunmow. It is a happy place to worship God and be part of Christian life in rural Essex.

We are the only "free" church in the surounding hamlets and ajoining villages so our congregation is drawn from a wide area.
Numerous activities take place both here and amoung the members homes enabling Christian growth and development to filter into the surrounding communities. We are about 50 active members at present, busy people right across the age spectrum. We pray about our mission in this place and are guided to work at outreach in the communities.

Of course we have Sunday Services too:
Sunday Mornings:
10:30 - 10:50 Prayer meeting
11:00 - 12:00 Morning Service (Holy Communion on 3rd Sunday in the month)
Sunday Evenings:
6:30 - 7:30 Evening Service (once a month please see whats on)
